Persona

We created a proto-persona named Aline to embody our users, aiming to comprehend their struggles and recognize their primary needs. An exploratory research phase was conducted on the market and potential professionals who would eventually become users.

Aline, our proto-persona, represents a young professional embarking on their career journey, grappling with the delicate balance of work, study, and personal life. Later, the qualitative research findings indicated that the platform's user profile would predominantly consist of professionals at the early or mid-stages of their careers, facing challenges in harmonizing courses with work responsibilities, leading to concerns about performance and stress. Effective time management emerged as a significant challenge for these users.

The proto-persona played a crucial role in delineating the user profile beyond what was uncovered in secondary research. It provided a framework to discuss aspects of Aline's daily life that needed consideration in our solution development. Important insights derived from this included:

  • Understanding the user's routine.

  • Exploring the users’ career objectives and how our platform could support them.

  • Identifying day-to-day tasks that could be optimized or improved.

  • Addressing fears and challenges that our platform could help alleviate.

Moreover, Aline served as a model for the research profile, aiding in narrowing down and identifying our target users, subsequently guiding the recruitment of research participants.

User Journey

The research allowed us to validate the persona we had originally created. With the confirmed persona, we sketched the user journey. This journey was crafted based on the behavioral patterns observed in the majority of users through our research.
